Frequently Asked Questions

No — they're Unicode characters. The "bold" A you see is actually a mathematical bold capital letter A (𝐀, U+1D400). It looks like a bold font but it's a distinct character. This is why it pastes as text anywhere, without needing any specific font installed.
Different devices use different emoji and Unicode fonts. An iPhone may render certain characters slightly differently than Android or Windows, but the text remains readable and the general style is preserved. This is normal Unicode behaviour.
Not every style has full coverage of every letter in Unicode. For example, superscript doesn't have a complete alphabet — some letters fall back to normal text. This is a Unicode limitation, not a tool error.
Completely free, forever. No account, no limit, no watermark. The tool runs entirely in your browser — we don't even see your text.
Yes. Unicode characters are part of the global text standard. There's no copyright on individual characters. You can use the generated text for personal, commercial, or any other purpose.
Instagram @usernames only support a-z, 0-9, underscores, and periods. However, your display name (the name shown above your bio) fully supports Unicode — use fancy text there instead.
